Reliable Motor Assistance

A dependable Bafang rear hub motor provides up to 32Nm of torque, offering smooth pedal assistance for everyday journeys and gentle hill climbing. Riders can choose from five assistance levels to match their preferred level of support, making each ride more comfortable and efficient.

Battery Performance

The integrated 375Wh battery is neatly positioned within the rear luggage rack, maintaining the bike's classic appearance while providing an assisted range of up to 40 miles (64 km), depending on riding conditions and assistance level. The battery can be removed for convenient charging either on or off the bike and features a key-operated lock for additional security when parked.

A full recharge takes approximately five hours.

Simple Controls

An easy-to-read LED handlebar display allows riders to monitor battery level, speed and assistance mode at a glance. The bike also includes a practical walk-assist function, providing motor support when pushing the bike on steeper inclines.

The Dawes Elegance features a 7-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain with a Revoshift twist shifter, delivering straightforward gear changes for a variety of riding conditions. Low-maintenance V-brakes provide reliable stopping performance, while puncture-protected tyres help reduce the likelihood of unexpected punctures during everyday use.

Comfort-Focused Features

Every detail has been selected to improve rider comfort. Ergonomic handlebar grips, a supportive Selle Royal Freeway saddle, swept-back handlebars and an adjustable handlebar stem allow riders to achieve a comfortable riding position for longer journeys.
